For a while I wanted to go back to Tasmania. Since I’ve been there for Xmas in 2012 and our rental car was cancelled. So finally a Jetstar promotion came up and we flew to Launceston on a Saturday morning for a very affordable price. Destination: Wineglass Bay (in the Top 100 Best World Beaches) and the Bay of Fires, worth seeing too. Car rented through Hertz for $80, we stayed in a very cheap motel in St Helens booked through Booking.com. 1st Day A couple of hours later we indulge in a 2nd brekkie at Barkmill Tavern & Bakery. Delicious Tomato, Bacon & tomato Quiche and not a bad croissant. We’re now big fans of a salty breakfast. the bakery is pretty good and we buy some bread for a later snack. Even though we’re in the middle of autumn, the temperature outside is pretty good, around 18-20C and mostly sunny. We arrive at the National Park, 24$ entrance fee per car for 24 hours.
