POSITIVE MONDAY! What is it about? An inspirational video – #GenBetter // In fondo di cosa si tratta? #GenBetter

It’s been a while since the last time I wrote, but I really wanted to share this inspirational video featuring Rod Laver, the greatest Australian Tennis Champion, who holds the record for most singles titles won in the history of tennis, with 200 career titles (Source: Wikipedia). By the way, the main tennis arena in Melbourne, where the Australian Open are played, is named after him. It inspires all Australian to get better, to get moving, to do something or as the ad says: “It’s not about expensive gear …or being No. 1…It’s just about getting out there and having a go, do something…encouraging every Australian to have a go, all part of Generation Better #GenBetter Eventhough it’s a Medibank commercial, just absolutely watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CksvfeLJ8-8 See here other #GenBetter TV commercials: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=%20%23GenBetter%20&sm=12 ——— // ——— Dopo qualche settimana di silenzio, volevo proporvi questo video che secondo me ispira a fare, a muoversi, e soprattutto rida’ il buonumore! Per chi non lo sapesse l’”attore” della pubblicita’ e’ Rod Laver Arena, il piu’ grande campione …

How is experiencing the Australian Open in the Rod Laver Arena? Ferrer, Sharapova, Djokovic & Wawrinka! Just WOW!

Well, well, being in Melbourne at this time of the year, you cannot be talking about the Australian Open and you cannot either ignore it nor know anything about it. So, that is why I paid a 2nd visit to the Open and yesterday to the Rod Laver Arena. But actually also because I really like tennis, and hopefully I’ll go back playing it soon, after starting again back in Spain, and I really enjoy watching it. And watching it live it’s just an exciting experience, and even more if at the Australian Open. I watched the match between Ferrer and Nishikori, with a strong Japanese support from the audience. Ferrer, the 4th in the world, displayed a great tennis, but the Japanese didn’t make his life easy until the end. In fact Ferrer won the first two sets 6-1, 6-2, but the last set has been a bit more complicated as Nishikori fought until the end. But then Ferrer made it and won 6-4. Great match. Then a few minutes to wait for the …

14.1.2013: 1st day of the 2013 Australian Open in Melbourne / Oggi sono iniziati a Melbourne gli Australian Open 2013

And finally the long waited Australian Open 2013 started today. The city of Melbourne is full of people and it is bustling with energy everywhere. A sunny Melbourne. A breezy Melbourne. A perfect temperature for the players, not too hot, not too cold. Many players are involved, of course some of the greatest, such as Djokovich, that won today against Paul-Henry Mathieu (6-2 6-4 7-5), Venus Williams (6-1, 6-0) and Sharapova (6-0, 6-0) a lot Spanish players, a lot of Australians of course, and a few Italians. Unfortunately all the Italians are out: Fabio Fognini (0-6, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, 1-6), Simone Bolelli (5-7, 4-6,3-6), Flavio Cipolla (1-6, 4-6, 1-6), Karin Knapp (6-3, 3-6, 3-6) and Camilla Giorgi (2-6, 2-3), but Paolo Lorenzi, who is playing right now against Kevin Anderson from South Africa. And just now the ‘Aussie’ Hewitt just lost to the Serbian Tipsarevic (7-6(4) 7-5 6-3) … Here are the results so far. And have a look here for some pics and videos! Keep watching!!!
