POSITIVE MONDAY! – Que’ suerte tengo! // I feel so lucky! // Sono fortunata!

Lucky Day! (Source: www.ripleys.com)

Today I can say once again that I’m lucky!🙂
And I can say it for 2 reasons:
1. As I’m working in the Porthole Gallery, doing some Marketing & Administration work, suddenly a lady enters. We start talking about the Gallery, about the fact that each artwork is about a maritime theme as the proceedings will support the Mission to Seafarers.
She really likes the paintings, very modern and colourful. And after I ask her whether she lives near by and she says she’s from Chile. It’s amazing how many Chilean people I’m meeting in Melbourne!
And so we start speaking Spanish, of course she thinks I’m Spanish, and I tell her that I’m Italian, but I was lucky enough to live in Madrid for a few years!
She tells me she’s here on holidays, that her daughters studies art so she enters each gallery she sees, and then we start talking about  of our own respective experience. I tell her I want to visit Chile one day and travel more around South America.
We have a very good chat and before leaving, she just reaches out to me to give a hug me and give me a big kiss on the cheek.
And I can’t help it, I’ll ask her to stay in contact!

2. Sometimes it’s difficult for me to ask people for help, mainly for 2 reasons, I used to be quite a proud person, although I improved and changed a lot lately, and I want to demonstrate I can do it all on my own, also without bothering anyone.
Well, but sometimes it’s ok to ask people for help because they probably will know something more, you need help or they’ll make your life easier as you’ll make it easier for them another time.
I’m amazed how many people responded to my post on a fb group I’m part of, trying to help me out.

I’m very lucky, that’s a fact! TG!

Have a great Monday and a great week!

Good Luck (Source: www.yasminboland.com)

Good Luck (Source: http://www.yasminboland.com)

Anche oggi posso dire di essere fortunata! E il perche’ ve lo diro’ subito.
Anzi sono due i perche’ di oggi:

TG!

Buon lunedi’ e buona settimana a tutti!

  1. I enjoy reading of “random meetings” with strangers-who-become-friends. I put random in quotes as I feel nothing is random – your meeting, connection, and future interactions were meant to be. Thanks for sharing your experience!

    • Thank you Cindi! I believe too that each encounter serves a purpose whether it’s to learn or realize something! Thank you for sharing your thought! Have a goid night/day!😉
