Esta mañana me he levantado, con el sol, desde la ventana una gran vista del centro de Melbourne, o Melbourne CBD, y estaba contenta! Pero algo faltaba… Y como es Abril, para mì serìa normal que fuera primavera y que dentro de un par de meses llegara el verano, aquì en Australia es Otoño aunque un Otoño caliente de momento, necesitaba algo de musica. Me acordè de un video de Estrella Damm, ‘Mediterraneamente’, él de Formentera 2009, que un compañero de trabajo, que ahora considero un amigo, me habìa enseñado casi recièn llegada a Madrid. La mùsica es espectacular y las imagenes, bueno, ni comentarlo. Este video es una recarga de buena energia y es la receta para el bueno humor, para despertar ideas, soños y cuantas mas cosas positivas. Y bueno, como soy sentimental, no podìa que volver atràs y pensar a mis Amigos, a mì Madrid y a mì Espana. Bueno, todo esto tiene un rinconcito especial en mì corazòn. La canciòn es “Summercat” del grupo sueco Billie The Vision & The Dancers. Y sigo escuchandòla en ‘loop’ jeje 🙂 Como dice la publicidad de Estrella Damm: “Lo bueno nunca acaba si hay algo que te lo recuerda”.

From the TV spot “Mediterraneamente”, Formentera 2009, by Estrella Damm

This morning, when I woke up, I was feeling happy as the sun was shining outside the window overlooking the amazing view of Melbourne CBD. As it is April, although I have been living Downunder for already 7 months, it still feels like it is Spring, also because of the nice warm weather if not summer, and that the Summer will come soon. I guess it takes a while to get used to it, but anyway. So something was missing and that something was music. So I remembered a video of a TV commercial, ‘Mediterraneamente’ by Estrella Damm beer, that could be translated into something like “Mediterranealy” or “Mediterranean way (of living)”.  This video was showed to me by a colleague, that now I consider a friend, just a few months after my arrival in Madrid. It is simply a way to recharge your batteries, to start in a good mood, to have a blossom of ideas, … In summary a source of positive things & thoughts!

The song is “Summercat” by Billie The Vision & The Dancers and I’m keeping playing it in a loop! : )

The video finishes with this catch phrase: “Lo bueno nunca acaba si hay algo que te lo recuerda”, which means ‘Good things never end, if there is something that makes you remember them”.

Well, let’s wait for the next summer and hope that this good weather stays around for a while in Melbourne!

Stamattina mi sono alzata di buon umore, iniziava un’altra bella giornata di sole con una vista, che gli spagnoli definirebbero ‘impresionante’, sul centro di Melbourne. Ma qualcosa mancava ed era la musica. Sì perché io adoro la musica ed essendo aprile, per me è ancora primavera, nonostante qui in Australia sia già autunno, anche se per ora un autunno caldo che spero si protragga per un po’. Immagino ci si metta un po’ ad abituarsi e la possibilità di vivere per la 3° volta primavera ed estate sia il sogno di molti. Eh quando non ci si accontenta mai e si vuole sempre di più… eheh

E, quindi, mi sono ricordata di un video di una pubblicità di una birra spagnola, “Mediterraneamente” di Estrella Damm, che un collega, che ora considero amico, mi aveva mostrato pochi mesi dopo il mio arrivo a Madrid. Questo video e la canzone associata sono semplicemente l’evocazione dell’allegria, della spensieratezza, una fonte inesauribile di energia che porta a sognare ed essere felici. Senza dubbio un buon modo per iniziare la giornata.
